The Botanical Blazer is a sample for a collection of slow fashion that has not yet reached final production. Therefore this is the only edition with a unique monoprint, handmade with wild plants. Other samples of jackets may have small differences.
3/4 length tight sleeves, kimono inspired collar and without inner linen.
SIZE MEDIUM (36/38)
The jacket is made of upcycled textile waste and decorated with handmade botanical monoprints. Therefore each item is a single edition were the botanical motif and colour composition varies from piece to piece.
The fabric is originally table cloths from Vraa Dampvaskeri which has been turned into this sustainable slow fashion item, made locally in the studio in Odense.
The textile is handprinted by Nathalie Gaia Dahl, who has collected local plants from the city space.
Before this textile was made into a jacket, it served as a table cloth in Danish restaurants and were ment to end up as textile waste. Now this upcycled material will be joining fancy dinner parties once more - just as a slow fashion creation.
The jacket can be either hand washed or machine washed - we recommend 30 degrees. The plant print with not fade even after several washes. Ironing with steam is also fine.
Do not send to prof. dry clean!!
Please notice: This is a collection sample and so the sewing work is not made with perfection and is made in the mind for testing the style. Yet, is is wearable and the botanical print is made with the same quality as any other normal collection.
